Art and Jazz Atlantic Avenue

Delray Art and Jazz Fest
City of Delray Beach Comes Alive Delray Art and Jazz on Atlantic Avenue
Art and Jazz on Atlantic Avenue in the City of Delray Beach literally transforms Atlantic Avenue into a Delray art event that resembles a mini Mardi Gras on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach!
Delray Art and Jazz on Atlantic Avenue - Colony Hotel

Atlantic Avenue is filled with the sound of music, jazz, art walks, art galleries, high energy, good vibrations, tasty foods, fun festivities, live entertainment, art gallery strolls, art exhibits, late night boutique shopping and you'll find a very lively nightlife during Delray Art and Jazz on Atlantic Avenue! Atlantic Avenue in the City of Delray is literally in "lock down" mode to all vehicles during Art and Jazz on The Avenue.
Barricades block vehicle access to Atlantic Avenue as far east as Federal Highway and far west as Swinton Avenue. Police officers direct traffic making sure Atlantic Avenue is dedicated to foot traffic only in between these barricades. Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach comes alive for six fun-filled nights a year during Delray Art and Jazz on Atlantic Avenue also known as Art and Jazz on The Avenue. What will you find during Art and Jazz on Atlantic Avenue? Well, Delray art galleries and Delray art exhibits for sure! But there's lots more too! There is art and jazz on Atlantic Avenue everywhere -- indoors and out! There are people everywhere -- indoors and out! There are delicious aromas everywhere -- indoors and out! During Art and Jazz in Delray, the air is filled with delicious aromas to tantalize your taste buds! City Oyster Restaurant in Delray Beach
As you pass by each Atlantic Avenue restaurant, you'll see each one has its own individual theme and ambiance that makes it totally unique to Delray Beach. The delicious aromas wafting through the air subconsciously lead you to your favorite Atlantic Avenue restaurant in Delray for dinner. Just follow your nose! It knows! When I first arrive in the pulse of the action of Art and Jazz on The Avenue, I always like to stop, stare, inhale and embrace the energy and excitement! It is so exhilarating and there is so much to take in – even if it’s just people watching. I just love it!
Once I get my initial amazement under control, I get my camera out and do what most tourists do...take photos! I, however, am not a tourist. Nope. I'm here taking these photos for you! And, I hope you enjoy them!
DeBilzan Gallery Delray Art Gallery
My destination was to meet up with my friend William DeBilzan aka Bill DeBilzan at his Delray art gallery, appropriately named, DeBilzan Art Gallery.DeBilzan Gallery - Delray Beach

DeBilzan Gallery
is located on Atlantic Avenue near Swinton Avenue right across from the Old School Square and it just happened that the Old School Square was another one of my destinations that night. The Old School Square was holding the World's Largest Pop Up Book Party for the unveiling of
The Pop Up Story of Delray Beach.

Atlantic Avenue Restaurants
I began walking west on Atlantic Avenue towards Swinton Avenue, while simultaneously taking in the colorful scenery and watching everyone enjoy themselves at Art and Jazz on The Avenue. I just love the ambiance of the outdoor sidewalk seating with the soft music playing and the restaurant patio courtyards decoratively lit up with strings of lights. Tratorria Toto Restaurant in Delray Beach

I was focused on the picturesque outdoor dining and taking photos of a few Atlantic Avenue restaurants. But oops.....I got distracted!
Brazilian Dancers The Taste of Brazil Restaurant in Delray
This delightful distraction of ooh-la-la, oh-so-sexy and very revealing Brazilian dancers was abruptly stopping people in their tracks -- including me! These Brazilian chicks were hot, talented and sexy! They had the agility and ability to manipulate their body parts into some very intriguing and eye-popping positions! It made me want to ask, "Hey, is this legal?" And, the body parts they could ripple! Wow, baby! Very erotic! I wanted lessons! At Taste of Brazil Restaurant in Delray, the Brazilian dancers put on a performance that is worth paying for and it's all free!
The crowd continued to grow with excitement and the Brazilian dancers invited people from the crowd to dance with them. Some people were too afraid but others were elated for the opportunity to participate! It even appeared that they momentarily lapsed into their own alter ego of a showgirl. After my distraction in front of the Brazilian restaurant, I eventually made it to
DeBilzan Gallery
and met up with my friend William DeBilzan. We walked over to Old School Square for the unveiling of
The Pop Up Story of Delray Beach.
Our next destination...
The Grand Opening of Tryst Restaurant in Delray Beach!
