The Christmas celebrations begin with the lighting of the 100-Foot Christmas Tree which usually takes place the end of November or the beginning of December every single year, ever since 1992.
Soon after the Christmas tree is lit, our downtown comes alive with the magic of Christmas in Delray Beach, Florida!

Lighting of the Menorah
Location: Outdoors at Old School Square
More Information: The beginning of Hanukkah begins with the first candle lighting on the Menorah! Everyone is invited to the Menorah Lighting Ceremony in downtown Delray!
The Hanukkah Ceremonial Lighting takes place on the front lawn of Old School Square located at 51 North Swinton Avenue.
What: Come ride a real old-fashioned holiday carousel. Friendly for all ages!
Location: Outdoors at Old School Square
Cost: $3 per ride or 2 rides for $5
More Information: The holiday carousel usually opens after Thanksgiving and runs through the entire month of December, ending on January 1st.

Take a tour inside the 100-Foot Christmas Tree and see the animated
displays representing historic buildings in Delray Beach.
These replicated historic buildings are filled with joyful, animated features like children caroling, penguins hard at work, reindeer and elves preparing for the holidays, and there's even a train display!

What: Come cruise the intracoastal with Santa on the Cookie Cruise aboard Delray Yacht Cruises!
Location: Delray Yacht Cruises on the Intracoastal & Atlantic Avenue
Cost: $20 - Children under 2 free.
Sailing Time: 10:30 AM to Noon
More Information: Reservations are required and tickets must be purchased prior to the event.
On the west side of Old School Square
Cost: $3 for 6 holes of mini golf
Hours: Monday-Friday, 5-9 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 1-9 pm; extended hours during school break and select events.
Bring the family and have a whirl-of-fun on the ice at the simulated ice skating rink at Old School Square.
What: Boynton Beach & Delray Beach Holiday Boat Parade
More Information: Christmas Holiday Boat Parade on the intracoastal. Enjoy watching approximately 60 festively, brightly-lit and decorated boats leave Boynton Beach Inlet at 5:30 PM and travel south on the Intracoastal Waterway to C-15 Canal in Delray Beach. There are many places to watch Holiday Boat Parade, and Veteran's Park in Delray is one them!
The Christmas Holiday Parade in Delray Beach
is presented by Delray Beach Parks and Recreation.
The parade begins at Venetian Drive at 6 PM, heads west on Atlantic to the Courthouse.
