Historic Banker's Row in Delray Beach

The award-winning Narrated Bus Tour of Historic Delray Beach, Florida is conducted by the Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History.

This historic bus tour of Delray Beach was designated as the “Most Unique Travel Gem” by AAA Travel Mid-America Home & Away Magazine.

The boarding location for the bus tour is at the new home of the Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History's located at the Boynton Beach Mall (Near Sears) at 801 N. Congress Avenue, Boynton Beach, Florida.

Sites on Historical Tour

The historical sites listed below are visited on a rotating schedule.

  • 1950 Priscilla Hotel

  • 1896 Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church

  • 1897 St. Paul AME Church

  • 1903 Cason Methodist Church

  • 1904 Trinity Lutheran Church

  • 1904 St. Paul's Episcopal Church

  • 1911 St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church

  • 1924 First Presbyterian Church

  • 1926 Colony Hotel

  • 1936 Sandoway House

Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion Exhibits

Plan to view the exhibits at the Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History which includes Fashion Treasures from the Museum's Permanent Archival Collection, and the Barbie exhibit (formerly named Barbie: The Golden Anniversary). The Barbie exhibit has been modified and expanded.

Cost

Cost is $15 per person for adults/senior citizens and free for children under age 18 (maximum five children free per family). These fees also include admissions to view the exhibits at the Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History on the same day as the bus tour. Private group bus tours are also available.

In order to guarantee a seat, pre-paid reservations made in advance of the tour date, are highly recommended. Reservations can be made with payment by phone or by mail. Seating is general.
