Information: The Flagler Museum
will be open free of charge on in honor of the Museum's founder, and
Henry Flagler's granddaughter, Jean Flagler Matthews.
Founder's Day allows visitors free access to this National Historic Landmark. Along with the Museum's vast collection there are special exhibits on Florida history and Henry Flagler's impact in developing Florida's East coast while establishing tourism and agriculture as the backbone of the state's economy.
It is suggested to allow 2 hours for the tour.

What: Ride and Remember Trolley Tour with Spady's Museum.
Departure location is from the Spady Museum, 170 NW 5th Avenue Delray Beach, FL
33444. Departure Time is 10 AM. Parking is available.

More Information: Riders will tour the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, Old School Square and select historic and garden sites for a closer look at the fascinating history of Delray Beach.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. There is lots of walking and getting on and off the trolley. For those who wish not to participate in the walking, you are welcome to remain on the trolley.

What: 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Information: Join the Spady Cultural
Heritage Museum as it honors the oldest known commemoration in the ending of
slavery in the United States known as Juneteenth. Known as Freedom
Day or Emancipation Day since the news of freedom fell on the 19th of June 146
Guests will enjoy a moving re-enactment, live music, an old-fashioned bbq with strawberry soda-pop, art exhibits and more.
The Spady Museum has proudly welcomed this celebration in recognition of this important date.

and partners to join us for this fun summer party that recognizes a special
date in the history of African-Americans and this country,” said Charlene
Jones, museum director for the Spady Museum.

Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce's Non Profit Council and the charity
