Me and my wife visited Delray for two nights in early April 2011.
We weren't expecting such an exciting and chic spot! Plenty of interesting things to do capped off by a most lovely stretch of clean white sandy beach.
We stayed at
Crane's Beach House which was a tropical paradise only one block from the beach.
Restaurants abound in Delray but we only had enough time to eat in two, both on Atlantic Avenue.
We had a great burger (shoe string fries are nothing to sneeze at either) at the Office Restaurant. Just across the street from the Office Restaurant was a restaurant called Tramonti where we found their Italian cuisine absolutely superb.
Our only regret was that we had but two nights in this beautiful oceanside paradise called Delray Beach.
It will be different on our next visit!
Comment by Danika Dahl: Eileen: Yes, we do have beautiful white sandy beaches in Delray Beach. In fact, we have 2 miles of beautiful white sandy beaches! Our beaches and our town are multi-award winning for obvious reasons!
I love to hear how much people love Delray Beach. Thank you for sharing your story.
I added some photos of our beaches!
