Read on for the comments and reviews…

Dogfish Head 90 IPA Scores 100!

micro brew

Notes of apricots, peaches, cranberry, maple syrup, and raisins... So delicious! It’s one bountiful fruit basket in a pint. I’ll come back to this one again and again.

Poured out a clear amber brew with a great light tan that was quite thick and left average lacing. The aroma is insane! One of the best I’ve ever smelled.

Beautifully floral with peaches, apricot nectar, more fruits that I didn’t have time to identify, weak pine, raisins maybe, thick malts.

The taste was incredible form first sip - the wonderful aroma just set that up. Intense hops of grapefruit, orange, lemon, sweet bready malts, soft caramel, tastes like flowers smell, weak molasses. It’s all just put together so nicely.

Chimay Premiere Reserve (Bleu) Scores 99!

Chimay beer The aroma was both spicey and fruity, but it is beyond me to determine which ones. Taste was extremely good as was the mouth-feel.

Aroma is yeasty and vinous with a lot of berry fruit, flavor is similar but more intense and deep with a long medium sweet finish that leaves very nice berry fruit flavors in your mouth.

Nose of yeast, vanilla, plum and other dark fruits. Taste is sweet, a little spicy, and hints of booze. Leaves a very mild warming feel in the stomach.

Champagne is a perfect description of this beer. In fact I think I may be popping a bottle of this in celebration instead of the bubbly! Will keep for toasting or celebration.

Rogue Chocolate Stout Scores 98!

Chocolate beer Delray Pours black with a small dark mocha head. Nose is chocolate, brown sugar, cocoa & some coffee. Bitter profile.

Opaque pour with a creamy tan head, excellent retention, decent looking lace.

One of the most chocolaty beers I’ve ever tried. The aroma is incredible chocolaty and inviting. A good desert beer.

Aroma of dark chocolate, chocolate milk shake, a little espresso. Flavor is sweet chocolate at the beginning and dark chocolate and espresso on the finish.

Testimonials

300 beers on their menu, 58 craft beers from microbrewers. They've converted me. I'm now officially a craft beer lover.

Besides the great tasting food at Tryst Restaurant, the beer selection is really unbelievable with lots of craft beer on tap and in the bottle.

Tryst has an amazing selection of 58 craft beers to choose from! The names sounded almost magical right out of Hollywood. Bigfoot Barleywine, Chimay Cinq Cents, Midas Touch. Rogue Dead Guy. La Chouffe.

Tryst’s food is so good, I'm convinced they're sprinkling pixie dust on it, because I crave it again the next day.

We tried the Blue Point oysters with caviar, which were very fresh and delicious. I had the daily special fish, a Wahoo steak served over red cabbage with jicama slaw and a spicy mustard sauce. Delicious! My wife had the fish tacos, which she also loved.
